This book is one every child should own, especially for special needs children, as some can't write, and this book will help you over that, it will take time, but its a fantastic learning point for the child to learn how to write the letters and numbers. Learning how to write your name would be a massive achievement. This book does it all, counting, math's, letters, matching fruits etc.
The best part is that you can wipe what you have traced and learn again, and again until your able to write on a piece of paper. So, it's a book you just keep learning with, great for school, to have and learn with your teachers.
Your First Impressions
Well, i can't write properly, and its one part I really need, I'm better at seeing symbols, and know what Big W symbol means and has, i know what Mcdonald's symbol has, and so forth, but learning now to write is something that will help me. I started to learn how to trace the alphabet letters, it took a while it was not easy, but it's about fine motor skills, and holding the pen correctly, and this is where your parents or teacher come in. But it helps to understand each letter and having your parent, or teacher, help you with pronunciation, as say the letter 'A' (ay) is different to saying the fruit apple not (ayple). The book has 64 pages, and they are all fun to do, and you learn how to count, with objects, so you simply count how many objects there are in one square and how many in the next square and that is your total as appose to looking at two different numbers, as it not easy to understand for us. This book should be in schools to help those that really do need that extra help, especially special schools.
Pros and Cons
Pros - Its a great learning book, as it helps children like me whom can't write well, to help them. And it also helps with how to old the pencil as i'm still learning as to how to do this correctly and most of all, how to write. The book has everything you need with a massive 64 pages full of schoolwork stuff it will help in the off season as well as during the school season.
Cons - Well, not any cons on this one, it's a great book and does help, its specifically designed for us and it helps us greatly. Lots of pages would be the only thing i can think of, but then again, parents would like that, as it keeps me busy, and they actually get to finish a episode on Netflix uninterrupted......BONUS.
The Final Score
It's an amazing book i must say, it does help, I'm still not their yet but I'm working on it, so still a long way to go for me. I can now say the alphabet, which is great, and i can count to 19. The book is very well written and made, i have to give it a 9/10 as it does help and i do enjoy it, so it's a book worth investing, as you get to rub out what you have done and redo the activity, so you're not wasting pages, and yes you can pass this done to the little brother or sister.
